Making the most of your IWB for Literacy [offered regionally and in house]
Heaps of ideas for embedding the IWB into your literacy teaching: brainstorming, planning and mindmapping ideas; developing a digital story; ‘feedback’ from group or class; incorporating oral literacies; grammar and sentence level work; spelling; handwriting and more!! Our training is for all brands of interactive whiteboards so all your learning requirements will be catered for.
Making the most of your IWB for Numeracy, (offered regionally and in house)
Heaps of ideas for embedding the IWB into numeracy (and numeracy into your IWB). We look at personalising and contextualizing numeracy using the Key Competencies as a guide. We will investigate what resources are available in your IWB programme and where else they may be hiding. We look at searching the internet and adapting what we find and use digital photos and GOOGLE Maps. Bring along your own examples and resource ideas so that we can develop them further by using the combined talents of the group. We will create new resources and add web sites to our BreatheMaths del.icio.us account for everyone to access.
