Now managing the professional learning program for teaching and learning technologies within the Australian Capital Territory and with his latest book, “Quality Teaching with Interactive Whiteboards,” about to be published, Peter is well placed to share his ideas and thoughts on integrating IWBs into classroom teaching. Originally a secondary physics teacher, as Deputy Principal of Richardson Primary School he was responsible for leading the team of teachers who pioneered the effective use of IWBs. In 2003 the school received an Award of Excellence in Education from the Australian College of Educators and in 2005 they received an Australian National Award for Quality Schooling – Outstanding School Improvement. Peter has published articles in a number of professional journals and delivered conference presentations and professional development workshops in Nth America, Europe, Asia and extensively throughout Australia.
