An introduction to using robot technology in the classroom. We consider the history of robots and logo programming in education with a fun look back in time. We then get straight into the hands on session, first exploring the BeeBot and ConstructaBot and then moving onto the ProBot. We have a look at some case studies of how the Bots are being used around the world and add our own ideas as to how we would like to use them in our teaching and learning. A fun hands on, bottoms up session lasting an hour and a half. Perfect for after school PD. |
